Just noticed that Bailey's is having a bit of a Fremont tap takeover. For those who haven't tried it in that format yet, I highly recommend the coconut bbomb on nitro.

Also noticed they have a keg of Orange freak on tap. ???? Am not at all familiar with this ba incantation from Fremont

Chocolate orange Bbomb infusion. It was on draft at the brewery during one of the releases.

The beer is as delightful as this video.

Fremont certainly has a knack for keeping it playful even as they maintain the highest quality. Whether they were drunk or high when they came up with this cartoon/concept, I approve.

Just learned black heron lounge is closed (for now at least) - when did that happen / any idea why? Stopped in there when I was back in town last June, thought it was great

I had no clue. They had even expanded the hours to Thursday through Sunday in the last few months. I wonder if it has anything to do with hiring a new head brewer for BHP.

Speaking of BHP, their tequila barrel aged Lager, George, is fantastic.

Not happy to hear that. Hopefully they'll bring the Heron stuff to their normal tap list until things get figured out.

I'll be passing through Seattle tomorrow night. Wondering what availability is like on the limited offerings since they don't have any info on their website. Can anybody help a brotha out?

I find Fremont's website actually incredibly helpful and up to date with what they've got on hand. The navigation by mobile could be different, but select "Visit" then "Urban Beer Garden" to see what's on tap. For stuff to take home, select "Visit" and then "Beer to Go."

    I hope that helps!

Digging fresh 'Sister' DIP right now, 6packs and 22oz bombers are out. They just dropped golden pils for the season as well. Both are easily accessible at stores like QFC or Total Wine.

Belmont Station is having what appears to be an interesting Fremont event tomorrow (from 5 PM to 8 PM on 2/20/20). The event announcement indicates this is a fund raiser for the Max Baer Fund, and they're pouring the following BA beers from Fremont:

    • Dark Star 2017

    • Dark Star 2018

    • Dark Star 2019

    • Vanilla Maple Dark Star 2019

    • Spice Wars Dark Star 2018

    • Rusty Nail 2018

    • BBOMB 2017

    • Coffee Cinnamon BBOMB 2018

    • Coffee BBOMB 2016

    • Coconut BBOMB 2018

I know what you mean. For the 2019 release, a lot of places in town were selling bottles of the 2018 as well. The 2019 is/was drinking well right out of the gate, but I was surprised by how delicious the 2018 was. I picked up another 3 or 4 bottles of the 2018, as I felt it currently was drinking much better than the 2019 (which surprised me). I'm sure the 2019 will develop in the same way the 2018 has, but at present I think the 2018 is the more enjoyable of the two beers.

    Hey @Texwild

Why did Session Pale have to die? I probably know the answer already, but I really miss it.

Urban Family's new space is opening in Ballard today. Other than that always good beer available throughout the city.
