Thinking about converting a French door refrigerator into a kegerator. Thought behind this was so I could place the taps up high and not have to open both doors to get into the freezer of a traditional top/bottom frig. I have looked everywhere and can not find any info on whether a French door frig would be able to hold the weight of a half barrel keg. Does anyone know or think that a this style of frig is up to the challenge???
Not sure why it wouldn't. My concern is that lifting the kegs to put them in the fridge could turn out to be a PITA.
