Fresh Abrasive in the TC?

    Hey I am in Minneapolis until Wednesday and I wanted to bring back the freshest Abrasive possible for some good dudes at home. Has anybody seen especially fresh Abrasive in the area?

    Here's the great thing about Abrasive. Even w/ a few weeks on it, it's IN A CAN - it lets no light in, and as long as it's refrigerated, it will still taste absurdly good! I understand what you're looking for, and I'm sure someone will be able to help out, but I'm just saying - don't worry about getting something canned this week, you'll be fine!

    Cyclone8, you are not incorrect at all! It's more bragging rights than anything. If a friend of mine cracked a can of Heady Topper moments after buying it after it was canned, I want to try to snag day old Abrasive if possible. I heard rumor Surly canned it on Mondays, so I am going to hunt on Tuesday.

    I will definitely be stopping by France 44, after I figure out how much I can take back safely in my luggage.

    If nobody else has a hot lead it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    Seems sales have slowed from the initial frenzy. Picked some up at Blue Max yesterday, and it was also December stock.

    Thanks guys for all the info! Bought a ton at France44 today. Along with a ton of other tasty treats. There will be some happy campers in VA, that is for sure!

    Just gonna tag onto this as I know the thread is about dead...but I am drinking an Abrasive with an 11/30/12 date right now and it is still fantastic.....slightly less assertive than the batch I had with much more recent dates but this is outstanding as well and in someways I like it better..

    1/8 still around Rochester. Andys and Apollo had a good supply as of Tuesday of this week.

    I'll second this. Not my favorite of the Pixies by any means, but, it's the Pixies:slight_smile:

    Well after reading the posts from this week I'm not feeling so out of the loop of freshness. I have yet to find any Abrasive with a new year date as well. Guess I'm not the only one.
