Fresh Baby LIF

My wife and I are expecting our first child on December 11th, 2012. The due date was calculated in April, 2012. We have opted to not learn the gender until the baby arrives. Because I don’t have anything better to do, I’ve decided to put together a LIF for the occasion and to give back to the Community. Don’t worry, my wife said it’s cool. To enter the LIF, please take a guess at the following questions:


1. Gender of baby
2. Date of birth
3. Weight (in Pounds and Ounces)
4. Beer I’ll drink in celebration of the child’s birth (spdy’s idea and hopefully tiebreaker)
5. 2012 beer that I’ll be obtaining a case of for my child (2nd tiebreaker?)


Fine Print: One guess per BA handle. You must have been an active BA since March 2012 (to help prevent troll accounts from guessing), or have at least 10 successful trades (I will check references before declaring a winner). People who are restricting the visibility of their profile and don't allow for me to view these things will also be omitted when reviewing guesses. If you are passively on BA but qualify based on your RB activity, feel free to submit a guess and BM me your RB credentials. No one on or associated with being on the Bad Trader List is eligible. Answers will be judged in order of the list of questions above. The winner sends me a shipping label to use once the box is ready; c’mon, I’ve got mouths to feed. Domestic and International BAs are permitted to guess as long as they are willing to provide a shipping label. I will only ship Internationally with USPS (this includes Canada). If the winner is a buddy that I taste with, the box will go to the second closest guess. I’ll just get that guy in on a cool bottle instead. The closest answer without going over will apply to questions #2 and #3. If there are multiple people who choose everything exactly, the winner will be the person who had the correct guess first. Guessing will cease promptly on November 22nd, 2012. The winner will be sent a box no later than 1/31/13.

The box will consist of (at a minimum):

• Black Tuesday ‘12 or 4pk BCBS ’12 (Winner’s choice and I know that the trade value isn’t equal.)
• Bruery bottle (additional)
• Cantillon bottle
• Fresh and highly rated APA/IPA/DIPA(s) (What you will receive depends on your regional availability. I’m not sending a Chicago/Michigan winner some Zombie Dust.)

After a quick search, I want to toss a shout-out to GuisseppeFranco, spdyfire83 and antlerwrestler19. It seems that they're also fairly new parents and have done some BIFs for that reason as well. Congratulations to you guys.


To be fair to those who have not met me, I am 6'0", 230lbs (not all muscle). I can't say that the baby will be that big when it comes out, but I can't say that it won't be that big.
