How many fresh bottles of bigfoot would it take to land a 4-6 year aged bigfoot? Is anyone with one that old even willing to let it go?

    Any input is appreciated

My guess is that few people would trade aged Bigfoot for fresh, just because they can almost certainly go buy some off the shelf. Most places in the DC area still have it, at least.

Some places still have fresh bigfoot in VT so i doubt that this would get done. But like anything, with the right offer some people would let go their 5 year bottles

Yeah i was worried about that. Just wondered if any of them would want to save some money and get a 6er of it for an old bottle or anything. Thanks for your help guys

Everyone has a price - for example, I'm sure a case of fresh Bigfoot would score a bottle of 2007 from most people.

Yes he would, but if you don't want to let it go then even a case wouldn't do it.

Eh - it's not easy to put a value on a 5 year old beer. Realistically I agree a case would be a bit much, but my point was that you typically have to go way over $4$ to pull something like this off.

What beer of equal rarity would an 07 take? The valuation problem with readily available but well aged bottles is the reason i posted this :stuck_out_tongue:

I can tell you I have an 04 and have no idea what it would trade for. It is damn good, though.
