Ooops, it was 2018. I forget the exact date, but late September '18.

I have now consumed fifty unique fresh hops. Enjoyed Cloudburst's Yakima Caviar yesterday at The Dray.

I still have a '17 de Garde The Frais. I've saved it this long as a bit of an experiment since the fruit and hop flavors in their other beers seem to lose so very little character over time. I kind of expect the Citra/Mosaic mix will still pop, though I won't be overly surprised if it does not. I definitely wouldn't advocate that kind of experiment for any other style!

Cant confirm, but it does appear it may be on tap at McPeets on NE Fremont. my friend owns this bar, so not a bad excuse to go and check in

McPeets is a great neighborhood bar. If I lived over there I'd be in all the time.

Finally it happened. Did I beat @mudbug ? A fresh hop arrived to the TC. Since it is my first one (I have no basis of comparison), it is amazing. Really love the aroma. Canned 9/18 (still fresh right?) Citra/Amarillo version. Really want to have a crack a BB’s Citra slicker (no sightings) and FH Bodhi (fat chance)

As I posted on another thread, Growler Guys Seattle has Fresh Hop Bodhi on tap - no growlers.

Ask and ye shall receive? It must be my day (almost bought a lottery ticket, too). Been checking my sources on the daily, as well as BB’s beer finder. Finally, one store popped up on the finder tonight...Kennewick Yokes. Sadly, will have to wait until tomorrow, gotta teach those kids tomorrow!
Maybe I should check out my local growler guys? FH Bodhi? (Yeah right, better luck on lottery ticket)

I know most of you guys are up north, but Northwest Beerwerks in Olympia has FH Bodhi on tap as well.

Just saw that Belmont Station put on a keg of Cowiche Canyon. Hopefully it will last into the weekend.

Been doing that there fresh hoppin’.

Last night was Cowiche Canyon and Citra Slicker. Both awesome. Tonight was Pert Near (though the “rotten mango” fragrance is beginning to fade - crestfallen), then a Fremont Head Full of Fresh Hops. HFFF is a great (i.e. very PNW!) take on the NE/hazy style: Employ a bit of fruitiness, a dash of murk, but above all just throw in an arse-ton of bitterness with le hops. I haven’t decided where it ranks against FH Crikey and Citra Slicker, but HFFF is more of that in-your-face hoppiness that I want in a fresh hop, and it beats out Reuben’s FH Double Crush for me. Both are wonderful, but HFFF for me was brash and harsh in its hoppiness, so I loved it.

FH Bodhi still has my top spot, and I sigh at the other announced FH Georgetown releases that I’ll probably never get to taste this season, but I look forward to the rest of the FH tallboys in my fridge duking it over my palate over the next couple weeks.

We are damn spoiled, and I love this season.

Had a pint of Fresh Hop Fuzz at Bottleworks this afternoon and then enjoyed a Block 15 Fresh Catch with BLTs for dinner. Up to 52 uniques. If you're really curious to see my journey in all it's illustrated glory, I've got a little thread on another site:
    https://dailydrinkingthread.com/community/threads/fresh-hop-season-has-begun.635/

Planning on hitting Holy Mountain tomorrow for two more FHs that I've yet to drink, and I've got cans of Head Full of Fresh Hops, Citra Slicker, Dr Jack, Fresh Fluff, Freshmaker and Charlie Foxtrot waiting for me. Who knows what else the weekend will bring.

I hold no authority here, but I hereby proclaim your endeavors, certified, "FUCKING AWESOME."

Thank you for sharing that link, of which every post I enjoyed reading - and for doing the Lord's work. Someone has to try every damn fresh hop out there, and you've bested me at least twofold. I'll raise my next pint to you. And, of course, it will be a fresh hop.

    Right on.

Sharpski is kicking my ass, and I saw someone on Untappd mention her 90th fresh hop of the year. Most of those looked like tasters, but whatever.

Best line from the thread...”Haven't spread the good word in a couple days. Have you accepted Fresh Hop as your lord and savior?”

Wolf Tree's FH is now on tap. Had a pint yesterday. Buying Greenland is a very nice FH IPA bittered with Fresh Amarillo and dry hopped with New Zealand hops. YEA!

That is a brilliant name. Dry hoping with kilned hops from New Zealand defeats the point, but whatever.

LOL. I was going to make a similar comment.

Whatever else you want to say about the current president (good, bad or indifferent), he's been an absolute Godsend when it comes to inspiring creative craft beer names.
