Fortunately Bottleworks lets you break 99.9% of everything in the store into singles and Chucks sells lots of singles. It's only annoying with brewery only releases.

There are just so many fresh hop beers coming out that it's hard for me to drink that much.

Fremont fresh hops also hit grocery stores which is very convenient.

Malt & Vine used to allow you to break anything, unless it comes in a "enclosed" package. This ruled out all of Fremont's fresh hops, because it came enclosed in cardboard. Although now they have a new shelf of singles and I haven't checked if they changed their policy.

I sent Isaac out on a fresh hop mission to Seattle today. He did well, and he promised that he didn’t dive in the pretzel bowls at either taproom.

I look forward to one of each of these tonight.

Stay Fresh with Cascade is on tap now. FH Pilsner with Sterling and FH Thirst Trap with Amarillo should be kegged and on tap at Milwaukie on Friday. Still a couple more in the works after those before the season is over too.

Are they going to make it this year? I get their newsletters and haven't seen any mention of it.

Usually, it's one of the first FH IPA's to be released each year. That it hasn't been released yet at this late date is a bit ominous.

i remember it being the 3rd FH beer they released last year. They did the Kolsch and another beer, and then FH workhorse. Fingers crossed for this year

Someone asked Laurelwood on Facebook about FH Workhorse and this was their reply: "We are not doing a FH Workhorse this year. Thanks for your inquiry, and I will share your posts with our Brewery team."

On a quick trip to Seattle, I managed to nab (small pours of) Fremont Never Let Go and FtF, Reuben’s FH Crikey, and Holy Mountain Cone and Cone in a little over 2 hours. Even managed to run into another BA!

Had F2F and FH Crikey last night.

F2F (C+S) had more of a grassy flavor and a bite than I expected. I remember in previous years Centennial had more of that flavor but I figured adding Simcoe would mellow it out a bit. I know not everyone loves that flavor, but I always enjoy it in fresh hop beers.

FH Crikey on the other hand was smooth. Given Crikey's nature as a flagship beer, I don't always drink it super fresh and stored under proper conditions. Instead I'll grab one at the stadium and it's not always in its best form. FH Crikey is peak Crikey. Super fresh and with some fresh hops added in.

At Belmont Station doing a sample tray of Ninkasi, Baerlic punk rock, Montavilla and Stormbreaker triple double. Good stuff all, and all very different. The fh character in the Stormbreaker is so dank it's almost skunky.

Had a stormbreaker handful of fresh hops IPA at garden home growlers last night. Really enjoyed it. I like the vegetal FH beers that taste like biting into a freshly picked hop, and this and FH Eliot are the 2 standouts in that category this year. FH workhorse also scratches that itch, but it looks like we will have to wait another year on that one
