I wasn't crazy about this beer at first, and didn't think I'd buy it again...but then I started to get cravings for it every so often. Weird. Pretty sure the distilling method/oil or whatever has some addicting quality. Anyway, the bottles that are out there are old (bottle date of Feb or March) and even those are disappearing and aren't being replenished with fresher stuff. Any insight as to when we might be getting more? North DFW, fwiw.
Fresh six packs seem to come in once a month. Even the grocery stores seem to keep it fairly fresh. But with 2-3 week old Mosaic on the shelves...I don't reach for it much. In fact I've only had HH once. It was alright.
.....and the twelve packs are virtually non-existent. The only place that I've seen them were 3+ months old when they got them.
I finally found some with a June bottle date. I must have hit up 7-8 places over the week and only found it twice. Once with a Feb date and the June stuff. Every place else had a slot where it used to be. Strange.
Sierra Nevada doesn't seem to be able to get fresh beer to TX anymore. Either that or SED lets it sit
I haven't seen fresh Hop Hunter in any store I've been to (and I check every time) since March or April. I'd love to buy this beer again but no way am I buying an 8 month old IPA.
This is one I'm always checking the dates wherever I go...I saw some today with a mid-October bottling date - at a grocery store, no less!
Funny this just came back up. I bought a 12 pack yesterday at the Spring Valley Specs dated mid October. They finally got rid of the 12'ers dated May. I've seen those May twelve packs show up at a few more places recently, though. Their distribution is comically bad.
