I’m heading to Seattle Tuesday to visit the daughter. She’s into craft and fresh hops. I’m wondering how much Washington fresh hops I’ll be able to drink in 2 days. Next week we’ll be in New England states on a road trip through foilage and beer.
The Wanderlust with fresh Cascade my cousin brought me a couple weeks ago banged hard. Anything but ordinary for both his and my palate.

Back home from Seattle where fresh/wet hops is alive and tasting great! Too many fresh hops everywhere in Seattle.
It's kind of a drought here in North SD for fresh hops this year. I had 1 at Pizzaport on tap, and cans of Burgeon Same Day Service, that's it. I was too late for Green Cheek ASAP and haven't found anything else and the past few years I've had at least 6-8 variants.
Picked up "citra shenanigans" from original pattern and while it's fine, nothing jumps out that it's a wet hop beer. It's actually rather light. I have mixed feelings about OP so my perception might be skewed, but was hoping for a bit more.
Damn right. That's why we travel up to Portland every fresh hop szn. The Bay Area just can't compete~
... and... Lagunitas just announced today that they effed up the bottling. This will only be available this year on tap tomorrow at Petaluma location. Then it's onto 2026...

Hands down my favorite CA fresh hop so far. I think that’s out of 6? Fresh hop Krush tropical flavor that looks like a hazy but taste clear all the way. Good job cheeks.
Damn. I was just at Windsor Home Brew in Costa Mesa across the street from Green Cheek an hour ago but didn't bother to stop in at GC. Looks like it's listed on their site now as "A Bag Full Of Yes!". Just might have to swing by there tomorrow if it's not too late.
Cans sold out yesterday afternoon at all locations. But still on tap at all,locations. This was a very limited batch compared to ASAP, which also sold out early. Stand by, there may be 1 more fresh hop release from Cheeks next week. everywhere released their fresh hop Fresh Leaves yesterday. It looks like a clear west coast. HpB should be next with fresh hop HelloLA. Looks like soCal fresh hop 2025 is turning out to be better than 2024.
Ghost Town released Green Fiend yesterday in cans/draft, and another keg of Resin Fingers was on at the main brewery.
