What you call too much malt and sweetness, I call balance. Not questioning your opinion, just throwing that out there because I can.

I found it very balanced and not overly sweet. If you're looking for a bitter hop bomb, yeah than this beer isn't for you.

Another thing to keep in mind with france44 is they will delay shipping if the weather is extremely cold, and there's any chance of damaging the product.

To those of you saying it's too sweet: sorry every IPA has to be SUPER dry for you to enjoy it.

I respectfully disagree. I think this takes IPA to overly sweet. I am not a fan of hop bombs (favorite IPA is Odell's) and think this was cloyingly sweet. This is obviously personal, but when my wife "likes" an IPA, it's because it resembles Fat Tire or some other malty beer.

I'm glad your wife got a chance to enjoy a legitimately good beer this time. Fat n' Tired wishes it could be on the same plane of existance as Fresh Squeezed.

This is a great beer, really pushes the IPA label tho - sweet, strong citrus (mostly lemon to me) smell and taste. Balanced? hmm, maybe more like an enjoyable fight in your mouth. Full review if I can get a keg of it, only can locate bottles now.

I agree that it's a little too sweet, but it's still a solid beer. It either needs a little less malt or more attenuation...don't know which.

Rats - only two kegs allotted to Tucson, AZ - both tapping tonight. Canyon Crown and Fini's Landing, if anyone in the area wants to know. I have bocce tonight but will definitely drop in Friday night at CC.

This beer was delicious and definitely resembled a pale ale( not an ipa). They should have called it a Summer ale instead!
