Trying to find out if the following have either a best before or bottling date? Post or message me if you prefer, thanks! (512) Brewing Austin Beerworks Big Stick Coop Ale Works Electric Hops & Grain Nimbus No Label North By Northwest Prairie Artisan Ales Rahr Redbud Rogness Sierra Blanca Southern Star
(512) and NXNW only bottle specialty beers. None of their standard lineup is in bottles and they are fairly rare to find the bottles.
Southern Star does, I believe. Hops & Grain doesn't... but it's rare to find a store with old stock. Their stuff sells quick. Zoe is usually bought up before it's even been on the shelf a week or two.
Thanks, i`ll make a note of it. I assume their specialty beers are of higher ABV so age isn`t too much of a concern.
Thanks! Let me know if ever you see confirmation on Southern Star. Emailed a few times but got no response.
May I ask why you are needing this? I am guessing you are compiling some sort of list of most breweries and not just a list for the SW? I also ask because you skipped over a lot of local breweries that do bottle...
ABW doesn't but refer to the comment above about Hops & Grain. And iv never seen a date on any Southern Star can either, but its been awhile since iv bought any of their stuff. The last 6 pack of pine belt I bought was so old and malty I drain poured them and said never again till they date.
I know Karbach dates with the numerical day of the year. So today, July 23rd, is 204. I don't have a can in front of me at the moment, but I believe it's the first three numbers then followed by a K.
I wish I knew why some breweries decide to put that kind of info in a cryptic code like that. Bottled on MM/DD/YY should be an industry standard.
