    Howdy,

I really like this beer. My question is how do you think it will hold up over time? Will the herbs fall off? Not sure if this is a one time beer or if it changes recipes every year as a seasonal fall beer or keeps the same recipe. Any input will be great. Due to the cost of this beer I do not want to put 12 away and find then to be really lacking. I know there is not real answer but try it ,but I am looking for opinion based on other similar type of beers you might have stashed away. I know saison will cellar but this is a much different breed of saison. Thanks in advance.

    Enjoy

The herbal aspects will probably fade out over time.

I just had a pint on tap at Local Habit in San Diego. It's rather bitter with hops and Belgian yeast as well as the mysterious herbs. Some mellowing in the bottle couldn't hurt it.

saw this on tap at lunch after I ordered my beer...kind of wish I saw it before hand. I hop it holds up and is popular enough for me to find it on tap again somewhere near me.

i liked this beer. i don't think age would improve it for my personal tastes as the bitternes, roast, and spice (i.e., the entire flavor profile of the beer) will fade but there's no harm in tucking away a few bottles and trying one at a year to see if you like how it is changing.

I'm in the minority here, but I thought it was horrid. We have a keg of it on tap and it's taking forever to go through. The people who taste it are turned off immediately. That said, I'm curious is laying it down a while would help. Can't get any worse.

Echoing this post completely, Especially the "can't get any worse" part.
