From DC to SanFran ... you want something?

    I am headed to San Francisco Monday and will be there until Friday, October 4. If you want something from DC, let me know and I'll see what I can do. I intend to bring beer home, so it makes sense that I make room by bringing beer with me.

    I'll do IP trades (http://www.cellarhq.com/cellar/districtcraft) or just mule, but I'd also love to know about any events happening in town next week. Thanks.

    Make sure to head to Mikkeller and Beer Revolution. Their the best beer bars in the bay and the only thing that even comes close to Chruchkey. Sadly, there isn't a beer store that comes to close to most beer stores in the District.

    City Beer Store is decent as far as bottle shops go (and they have taps as well). Also check out any local Whole Foods, or Ledger's Liquor and Berkeley Bowl West over in Berkeley if you make it across the bay.

    City Beer Store is good if you want IPAs in full blast of sun light unrefrigerated I suppose. I'd check their tap list to see if they have anything you want to try before trudging over there. Not worth it for their bottle selection IMO.

    Ha. I'll be on the look out for the light issue. I had Platypus Venom there from Marin last year and I loved it. It is walking distance to the conference I will be at, so I will definitely hit them up.
