Is there any problem moving things out of my refrigerator to my cellar? We are talking about going from roughly 38 degrees to 55ish. This is mostly for high ABV stouts and barleywines. I also have a few Side Project bottles and Goose Island Clybourne non-stouts. I'm only looking to move these for storage purposes and not necessarily because I'm hoping age will make them better, but I don't want to ruin them either. I'll leave the sours in the refrigerator for now.

This question gets asked fairly regularly in this forum, and the simple answer is no, there is no problem. The only things that ruin beer are direct sunlight and extreme temperatures (below freezing, 80+ F).

Thanks, I went 3 pages back and then gave up after searching a thread that showed everyone's awesome cellars! I thought I had a good collection until I saw what some people have.

Instead of just skimming pages, do an actual search. You'll find what you're looking for a lot easier.
