Hello Southern BAs! I'm heading down to Myrtle/Charleston from Richmond in a couple weeks and would love to get my hands on some Mexican Cake. However, I understand it's a brewery only bottle from July and is probably nothing short of dust in the wind at this point. My questions: 1. Has anyone seen any bottles sitting on shelves (not likely)? 2. Would anyone like a meetup-trade? 3. If MC is out of the question, where do you recommend I get my hands on anything else from Westbrook in the area of southern Myrtle Beach (visiting the brewery may be out of the question as we arrive sometime on Saturday and they are closed Sunday and Monday). Thanks for any and all help. PS...any breweries/bottle shops to visit that I'm overlooking?
It's NOT brewery only. MC was distributed as far as NYC. When in Charleston, hit up Total Wine, Bottles, House of Brews and The Charleston Beer Exchange. Try posting an IP (in person) trade. Good luck!
Go to the Piggly wiggly in Market Commons while you are in Southern MB. It is a fantastic bottle shop and has growlers as well. I was able to pick up some Westbrook there. Good luck!
