This brewery is quite polarizing. I've been there twice and all the beers on in the regular lineup were good with the exception of the Pale Wheat. That beer was terrible. The Stout was very good, especially on nitro with cold press coffee. I really don't understand how anyone could say their beer is "god awful."

As maximum12 said REM is outstanding. I generally dislike their IPAs but like most of the other stuff except the sours. I gave up after the first couple but have heard those have improved as well.

Different strokes, I guess. I've been there twice. Once right after they opened and once maybe a month ago. Their beer had marginally improved in that time, though I should have still kept them in my "poor" ranking in a different thread. I tried 4, and each had noticeable flaws in addition to ranging from terrible to mediocre. Only one (perhaps an IPA) masked the flaws enough to be drinkable. Not at all trying to be a dick, just won't spend my money there anymore. I've certainly liked breweries that many others have not (i.e., lakes & legends).

If I may ask, what were the noticeablle flaws?

For sure. I won't be able to remember which for which beer at this point. Every beer I've had from them, on both occasions tasted medicinal ("chlorophenolic"). This was not due to being overly bitter from hops (too much high-alpha hop use) or from infection. Some beers hid it better than others with bold flavors (some IPA and the stout). This was coupled with astringent harshness on the back end. I forget which beer, but one was one of the first times I had taken a sip of beer and immediately thought "Hmm.. band aids."
