Hi all. I have a dual tap. My keg was pouring both beers yesterday. Today the Sam Adams poured but the Fat tire nothing. Got Co2, valves opened but notice my cheap Chinese Celcuis thermostat said -1 which is 30f. Could one line freeze while other pours? Thank you.

The freezing point of beer depends largely on its ABV. Does the suspected frozen line have the lower ABV beer?

Yes it does. I bumped my temps to 36-37f, good enough? How long would it take too be pouring beer again? 2-3 hrs? Thank you.

I keep my keezer at 39-40F. But yes, no beer will freeze at 36-37F. I really can't guess how long your thaw will take. Note that if the beer spent much time at lower temps (before freezing) it would have dissolved more CO2 than normal, and could be a bit overcarbonated.

I have frozen lines, and a keg or two. To thaw a line just rub your hand over it a few times and keep it outside the kegerator door for a few minutes. You should make sure your lines are not leaning against the cold plate if that is the type of cooling your unit uses. The keg will take longer to thaw and maybe be overcarbed. It will take a few days and some CO2 purging to fix that. I have a cold plate system and normally keep the lower ABV beer in front away from the cold plate.
