Just reporting back for those out there who are curious: Pineapple and heady topper is a winning combo. The pineapple contributes just enough fruitiness to take the edge off of the HT - making it oh-so-smooth and decadent - but without overpowering the beer. I wouldn't always drink Heady this way, but it's definitely a really fun change.

What's interesting is that before I even saw this thread I decided to squeeze around 4 organic raspberries into around 1/3 - 1/4 of a glass of Beatification. It started to turn a little pink, but I probably drank it too fast and didn't want to use too many raspberries.

It would have probably worked better if I would have just had the straight juice, but it definitely softened it a bit. Now it's just straight sour, since the rest of the raspberries need to be saved for breakfast tomorrow.

I'll have to give this a try with some fresh home grown strawberries sometime, but this bottle is gone and it's time to move onto wine!

crabtree's berliner weisse is readily available in my area...it's an outstanding beer on it's own, perhaps my favorite of the style, but it also takes to fruit extremely well.

i frequently will take a few blackberries, muddle them, pour the berliner weisse on top, then strain the liquid into a pint glass...incredibly refreshing.

You should run a beer through some of those hot beef sandwiches you had at your b-day...
