Anybody know where I can get my hands on fruit juice concentrates like.....

    Clarified peach juice/concentrate
    Pear concentrate
    Clarified mango
    Clarified pineapple juice

I used to get them from a company in california, but it looks like they discontinued making any of the juice concentrates, which really sucks because the concentrates were outstanding, reasonably priced AND a great addition to a sour beer

Google ponthier puree they have every fruit you can think of but $20 per kilo. Blood orange is really good and we use the passion fruit for salad dressing at work

They gave me a little nip of this in a tasting cup. They asked if they could throw the cup away when I was done. I wouldn't let them. I'm not kidding.

I've looked around a little after that it doesn't look like there's ONE company that will do a large variety of juices. I hope I'm wrong. Maybe you can find a whole foods store niche that I haven't come across yet.

This is difficult for someone not in the industry...I'll poke around a bit. Looking for clarified juices at a Whole Foods is a "maybe", but mostly would be ready to serve beverages rather than concentrates. The places I deal with - drums, totes, or tankers and definitely not retail quantities. You can make a decently clear juice from a puree or pulpy juice if you add pectic enzyme and leave it sit for a while, decant the top, then give the clear part a quick heat treat. You'd have to adjust the recipe for using juice rather than concentrate because a juice will have more water, obviously.

I must be missing the connection, you work in the juice industry?

I used to have a source for homebrew scale juices like this for reasonable prices, but they made some changes and no longer carry the products

I would really love to have access to this type of product again, not just for homebrewing but for other things as well

Maybe a new business opportunity for someone???

Yes - I work in the juice industry, but on the equipment side. I asked one of our purchasing agents if they know anybody still selling smaller quantities, but no answer yet.

I recently worked with a company that provides membranes for juice clarification, it was kind of scary the things they had to say about how some of the cheaper juice is made

Use the ponthier juices they are good and have 30 kinds of fruit. They are talking about nonsense

In this instance I don't want a puree, I want a clarified juice
