I have multiples of both left. Just going to keep posting until they're gone. Here's the story on these bottles. A very good friend of mine bought a few cases of the Hardy's each year in 86 and 87. 86 was the first year they came to the US. He would drink some and put the rest in his root cellar and forget about them. He's an old hippie who lives in a mid 1700's Farmhouse that has a deep root cellar where it stays 55-57 degrees year round. There they remained untouched for the last several decades. He used to come by my place to watch homebrew sessions and told me that when he retires, he wanted a setup just like mine. He grows his own fruits and veggies and everything - and I mean Everything - and he wanted to star brewing his own beer.

When he retired 2 years ago he asked me to help him set up his home brewery. I had just started working tons of overtime and no longer had time to brew so I told him I'd trade my whole setup for his stash of Hardy's. He agreed and he's been keeping them in the cellar for me and I go get them when I need them. I've drunk way too many of them and wanted to trade the rest to build up my cellar. Every time I trade some, I think that's it and I'm not trading anymore but then I go visit him and he says, "Dude, you gotta trade the rest of those Hardy's." I guess because they've been cellared optimally, they seem to have aged really well. Real sippers though. The 86's no longer have front labels but the 87's have visible dates.
