FT: 2014 VR ISO: 2017 Maman

I think this is off by a VR/Prop 14. This seems about half the value of a Maman.

 

2x VR is really BAA territory, no? I do agree that VR x1 is light.

 

Is that true?

I could Be off. I thought it seemed like Maman was definitely around 2VR, and BBT/BAA were both n the order of 2VR and a decent plus as of recently. Or did VR suddenly increase recently?

 

This is very misinformed. No way I'd let my Maman go 1:1 for VR or Prop 14.

 

Where can I buy a Maman for $200?

Secondary isn't always the same as trade value, fwiw.

 

Wasn't the bottle count on VR like 60,000? What is the bottle count on the Maman?

 

Beer black book is not very reliable for secondary pricing. Look at recently closed sales on my beer collectibles ad other similar sites and it seems to be 325ish I believe to the VR at 225. Not 2x vr level but certainly needs a big plus

Maman filled for 350 in raffles recently and straight sold at 320. Not 2x VR but you're off about a rare '15 at least

 

Or you can buy a crap ton of BBT, I traded BBT for Maman 1:1 when BBT was released and now its shot up in two months to over 400$.

This is a ridiculous thread and hard to believe this is what the “hobby” has come to these days. The valuation of beer discussions that occur daily in these forums is just absurd.
