I thought they weren't allowing proxies?

I read that the name on the ID of the person picking up must match the name on the order. It doesn't say what the name on the credit card needs to be. So, if you purchase under proxy name and they use their ID that should work?

I remember seeing that when you enter in your CC info that it will default to that name.

Looking at their order site it seems possible. You’re only allowed 3 packages so if you order 3 and a person you’re proxying for orders 3 could see them canceling 3 of your orders though. Certainly couldn’t pick them up at the same time.

also according to people on Facebook and Instagram 3F has said no proxies.

I think it's meant more as, the fact that 3Floyds is allowing 3PP allotments, technically the OP can purchase all 3 allotments, pick them up and trade them away to people who in advance expressed interest in the allotment. In a sense he is proxying.

Does he then choose whoever offers the best box gets the best variant or does he do that by random?

I thought about that too. I would hope honesty goes a long way, and the allotment in bag which hasn't been peaked into is just designated for the trade partner. Only other way would be to literally live stream it on the phone as you pick up that person's allotment and show them right after what is in the tote bag, without breaking the live stream.
