Have 4 16 oz cans of Axe Man (#3 Rated American IPA here on BA.) Will trade one-for-one for hard to find (for us, anyway) Pacific Northwest beers (WA & OR only.)

Examples - always contingent on what's available of comparable freshness: Pallet Jack from Barley Brown, Nectar of the Gods from White Bluffs, etc. Feel free to offer your fave - we are curious to see what comes up.

Oh, the Surly was canned on Sept 7th.

I may be late to the game with this, but this is obviously Todd the Axe Man, right? Wasn't that a year rounder previously. Did they change the name and only release seasonally now?

Unsure. It’s an interesting offer either way.

It was originally called "Todd the Axe Man" after Surly's master brewer and co-founder Todd Haug. Todd left Surly to join Three Floyds in 2016. I don't believe he last too long there and my quick Internet search put him down at Stone in San Diego.

Axe Man might be a year round beer now. It's easy to get in the upper Midwest and reasonably priced.

Did you get axe man in Washington? Or did you have to pick it up out of town? Also you want to trade it for beers that are in your area?

With that being said you may not get much traction on here with that. Trading has been tough and it seems folks don't want to do much shelf trading these days.

We live in a rural area of WA, moving there from 40 years of dealing with Minnesota winters. Our kids still live in Minneapolis. We were there last week on a visit. Bought these back.

Just thought we'd give this a try. No loss if nobody takes the bait. Can always drink the stuff.

Offer no longer valid,. No responses and we drank the beer. The comments were positive and appreciated.

    Cheers!
