By doing so, you're kinda stepping on toes, and doing what a lot of BAers dont like, the ole auction/offer post.

People would prefer you do your diligence outside of the trade forum, then come back with a specific post.

Edited post, a solid trader reached out and pointed me in the right direction.

Maybe stepping on toes was the wrong expression, maybe I should have used ruffling some feathers.

You can post as many trades as you want, you have been in the forums pretty actively, you know that the auction style posts are frowned upon.

Just wanting to try new beer isn’t the same as being iso “fresh BA stout whales.”

if you just want to try new beer, trade in locals.

There aren’t a ton breweries that produce the stouts you seem to be looking for. You’ve mentioned some breweries that you’ve enjoyed, maybe seek out more of their stouts, but as @TmKeisySC posted, do a little research. See what stouts people are iso on the trade boards, dig deeper on what those beers are, check brewery pages for styles, and ratings.

Also, you say “worst I can do is pass on it.” Thats the thing, people don’t want to be firing off offers and you being like, no, no, I don’t know what that is. Even if you have a few specific breweries, even better some of their beers, then it’s a better spot to start than, send me offers or looking for something badass.

    Good luck.

EDIT: you updated main post since my reply, but general points stand.
