I'll be heading down to Ft. Lauderdale in September, and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a bottle share. I could do it Sep 17, 21, or 22 (Tue, Sat, Sun). (Busy in Miami the 18th-20th.) Everyone knows there's no rare beer in Washington, so I won't be able to bring any super.rarwaelz. Depending on luggage space, I'd be happy to bring some combination of - Cantillon (probably Iris or Gueuze) - Fremont Old Bridge Rider - Upright BA Flora - Pike Entire (ignore the old reviews about it being infected - recent batch is great) - Anchorage The Tide and its Takers - Grassroots/Anchorage Arctic Saison or maybe some others depending on what I can grab between now and then and what people are interested in.
Alright, let's make it Saturday the 21st. Anyone want to volunteer to host, or know where we could have this?
Hmm, I guess that saying isn't as well known outside the NW forum. We have rare beer, we just don't hype it nearly as much as some other parts of the country.
Anyone else interested in this, or know where we could host it? I leave tomorrow and need to know whether or not to pack the beer. If we don't have a venue...
PhiGam25 has graciously offered to host. I'll be bringing some Cantillons, an Ale Apothecary, a Russian River sour or two, and probably a couple others. Pretty small turn out so far - it'll be nice getting more than 1.25 oz per pour. Still, if anyone else wants to join, message me or PhiGam25 for details.
