If you'll still be here on June 1, the Funky Buddha Brewery is opening in Oakland Park, which is about 15 minutes from Fort Lauderdale convention center. Other breweries in the area are Due South Brewery in Boynton Beach (about 35 minutes North), and the Mack House (Holy Mackerel Nano Brewery in Davie, about 15 minutes West). Good craft beer bars in the area are Tap 42 (5 minutes away), Original Fat Cats (10 minutes away), and Laser Wolf (10 minutes away). Also, there is a Total Wine on SE 17th St (walking distance from convention center) where you can purchase bottles.
