    Not sure people with these new fancy stouts even know what Loerik is but will see. I am sucker for vanilla adjuncts....

    “Fancy stouts” is an understatement. OWK is probably the most valuable stouts you can find. Honestly think Loerik is about half of the value of OWK

    That was funny. As I said I enjoy threadshitting. I also could put some vanilla extract in my Bourbon County but that isn’t really the same either. The bottles of Loerik I have had over the years have always been somewhat carbed, unlike Doesjel, which for me has always been still af. :slight_smile:

    Second I have no doubt, however I am not sure how "close" it is. VBA was only put into circulation by trades/gifts from primarily Clark and Mike. I got mine as a gift from Clark years ago, as I have known him long before TG was even a thing. He has only one remaining at this point. I would venture to guess there are only 2-3 VBA remaining at this point but who knows. All that said a 20 plus year old gueuze that was hand labeled by JVR years ago for a brewer is not exactly sitting on shelves....

    Agree. That and Brandy Vanilla DL from 2011 when fresh were the best two stouts I have ever had. Got my VB as a gift so no 5K for me. Not sure if you could even find one to buy at this point.
