Just curious because I only use this site for trading, if BA is useless, is there a better alternative? I hope so!
I was under the impression, and I am likely wrong, that the issue with trading isn't the BA site, but trading in general has died off.
I live in SoCal, and therefore never have anything anyone wants, so trading for me is hard regardless!

Trading is alive and well on other platforms.

No big secrets. Just FB groups mostly. Some other social media. Overall beer trading is down, but definitely more active elsewhere.

They killed trading here years ago w aggressive moderation (F2) and then further with restrictions on trading bourbon. Also seems craft beer trading and interest in general is less now than before. Seems younger drinkers are gravitating more toward seltzers ect. Most recent darklord day I went to was much more chill and certainly had more of an aged population compared to ten plus years ago.

I think people are also just selling then buying rather than trading. It's a lot easier to just offer cash for a bottle than finding someone looking for the exact bottles you have on Facebook.
