First 5 people bought at least 30 cases. It disappeared quick because it’s a dope beer.

Just trying to be helpful here. I think you would probably have to be willing to offer at least 2(and probably a nice plus):1 to realistically get a conversation started for BAA. BA Hazelnut unlimited @$15ea. vs BA Abraxas 1-2 per (about half the got a 2nd) @$40ea. Good luck!

I’d think any trade for BAA the hazelnut would be the +

I saw this happen IP at Octopi and I really enjoyed the beer. My reasoning for posting. It really is a lovely beer, even if there was 3000 bottles. Not trying to be greedy or a dick by any means!

I was #15 and really doubt this happened. Somebody bought 8 cases as 1st person, but I didn't see anything over that in front of me. I think 30 is a large exaggeration bc one guy only bought a few bottles as 1st 5. Also this is wayyy off of closing 1:1 imo. Very good beer but still way off.

Well it did so yeah. First two bought 8 ea and third bought 9.5 cases. My friend saw baa for UA BA Hazlenut go down IP. It’s a fantastic beer.

Also open to more than BAA, but for how dope it is, the art work, and B1 reviews, this is easily a tier 1 beer imo. Feel free to shit, but the quality is there.

BA Abraxas at the release where it was no limit? That would make absolutely zero sense. The quality of the beer is not in question. It’s the trade value/hype/secondary, however you want to put it. Look at some of the other ISO/FT/Completed posts for BA Hazelnut to see what it is closing for. You can get some nice things for your beer, but probably a no go on BA Abraxas unfortunately.

If someone was there at Octopi IP why would they trade away a BAA for a beer they could buy while there? I'm not saying it didn't happen, it just seems odd to me.

Maybe he meant a pour of BAA for a bottle of hazelnut?

I've read a bit more into this and multiple ppl have said that they saw this happen so somebody got one hell of a deal. With that being said I don't expect this to be a regular trade, but I have no complaints if it is!

Quality is maybe the 3rd or 4th most important, at best, variable when it comes to beer trade value. Otherwise Bourbon County would be trading for much higher than it is.

You are a new trader here and you can be upset all you want at what the majority here is trying to tell you, but I think you should take their advice and up your offer if you truly want a BAA. Otherwise you can just wait for your inbox to tell you the same thing.

    Good luck.
