So far I haven't seen cans at a secondary seller, only at RR establishments or online/ shipped. Honestly I'll be surprised if that changes, as I'd guess they'd be happier staying in the ever shrinking bottles/singles area of grocery store shelves than have to fight for space in the ever growing 4x16 canned shelves at said same store. I also really like the low-ABV yet high-impact beers. I'm a big fan of what I have had from Peak Organic Brewing Company. The Juice (5.6%) is an excellent Hazy New England Style Pale Ale and Fresh Cut Pilsner (4.6%) is quite good as well. Both are available in 12oz cans. They are sold in 6-pack boxes at a reasonably low price, and you may also be able to find them locally as singles.

Another local hazy pale ale to me that I like a lot but may not be available to you is Cape May's Always Ready (4.8%). Tonewood Fuego NEIPA (6.2%) is another good one local to the NJ / Greater Philly area that may not get distributed beyond the bordering states.

Sierra Nevada / Bitburger collaboration Triple Hop'd Lager (5.8% in 11.2oz cans) if you can still find it is excellent. Don't let the January 2020 canning date deter you, it's still alive and well.

Odd Side Citra Pale Ale (5.75%) is also quite good.

If you're interested in giving fruited sours a try, Stillwater Insetto (5%) is available in 12oz can 4-packs and is excellent. So is Bruery Terreux's Brite - Hibiscus Lime (3%), which is also available in 12oz can 4-packs.

Honorable mention to Sixpoint The Crisp Pilsner (5.4%) and Trail Haze (4%).

If you see it not old , consider Southern Tier's Overpack'd 15pk.Or the included beers , separately.
In that is Lake Shore Fog , a pretty good NEIPA (6.5%)
    Live Session (5.5% IPA :+1:)
8 Days A Week (4.8% , nominally a blonde, comes across closer to a spicy pils/lager, than a traditional blonde)
    Nu Juice (6% IPA - OK )
    IPA right at 7%
& 2XIPA at 8.2%, over your limit, but there's only 3 of them.

Also , Jack's Abbey variety pack . Can't go wrong with JA. :+1:

& of course, just about any good pils, helles, gose, or kolsch that you may find.

Given your location, maybe Old Nation Gose? It is a basic, softer, less sour gose.

No, it is certainly not the way to go, and I'm not sure what the highest price per ounce was that I've paid for the 6-pack/12-ounce format. However, I was looking around for 8% beers in 6-packs and discovered the following: (1) A 6-pack of 12-ounce Road to Ruin can be had at one store for $11.99--so a bit more than 16 cents per ounce. (2) At the same store you can get a 4-pack of 16-ounce Road to Ruin for $10.49--so a bit more than 16 cents per ounce but slightly less than the 6-pack format. What does all this mean? I have no idea.

From my personal experience this is a rare instance where the beer in the four-pack/16 ounce can format is a better deal from a price per unit volume perspective.

I personally would buy the six-pack/12 ounce can format since there are times when I would prefer to drink less (i.e., 12 ounces vs. 16 ounces) and this format provides me with flexibility here.

    Cheers!
