Does anyone know how successful these beers are..they seem to sell very well in my neck of the woods and how do they keep the price low? Granted they are not "Whales" but they seem good quality if somewhat toned down beers. Just drinking the Session Wheat..nice summer beer..no idea why released in the winter. I have read the reason that investment company bought Full Sail was because of the "Session" line.
I liked the Lager and Black Lager, and used to keep them in my fridge for friends who preferred good-old beer-flavored beer. The stubby bottles reminded me of the Olympia stubbies my grandpa always used to drink. I didn't like the Fest or IPA, but I'd still give the Wheat a try if I saw it on tap.
i think the OG session is excellent. perfect summer beer. when they first came out, i'd pretty much grab a half rack every time i went to the store. i haven't had one in a while, but now i think i'll grab some today.
Not a fan of the regular, red label Session, but I like the Black Session well enough. Haven't seen the IPA, or this wheat version. Never seen any of them on tap, bottles only, apparently, up here in the sticks. I'm not a huge Full Sail fan, in general, but they make a nice enough beer for the price, when one is a bit low on cash, but still desires a sixer.
