That picture brought a weepy tear to my eye.

With the amazing improvement of the MN beer scene the last five years, we're really only lacking two things to be completely spoiled: a few world-class barrel-aging programs, & an excellent wild/sour program or two. Seems like the first will happen before the second!

Perhaps the first will turn into the second... :grimacing: !

Why is everyone so excited about the new tires on that bike? Clearly you put air in them, or maybe they are going crazy and doing a nitrogen fill.

I wish it was Worthy Adversary! Was told the barrels are Two Ginger's whiskey barrels and that they are aging Libertine (Imperial Red if memory serves me right) in them. By the way WA was on tap when I stopped in at Fulton yesterday, love that beer!

    Cheers,
    Paul

Yeah it does rock (Worthy Adversary that is), the gent running the taps at the brewery had no clue what those barrels were for.. so I changed my initial question from 'what are they planning on aging in those barrels?' to the statement 'must be collectable alien pods over there.' warranted the same confused reaction as when I inquired about what was in them... gotta love volunteer drones. oh wait I'm sorta one too

Two Gingers barrels eh? Well that's pretty cool, love the Mn connection. I know the whiskey is produced in Ireland, I wonder if it's barreled here. BA Worthy Adversary sounds nice, but I think The Libertine would be interesting as well. Especially considering the Irish Whiskey barrels are probably much mellower than say a Bourbon barrel.
