In the spirit of great athletic motivation, DO, OR DO NOT! THERE IS NO TRY!

But for real, it's not made with Wheaties :grinning:

Pipeworks did a Cinnamon Toast Crunch-inspired Cream Ale. Unfortunately I was not a fan:

I wonder which company approached the other, as I'm having a hard time comprehending the branding value of this particular cross-promotion.

Yea I was disappointed when I read that. Nothing more than a gimmick. Now I don't much about brewing, but I don't see why one would not be able to brew with the actual cereal.

The article explains that friends from each company were discussing 'what if' scenarios and decided this would be a fun one.

Ah--I read the article and stopped about a paragraph shy of the end wondering why it hadn't included any info on the reason for the "collaboration". That'll teach me.

Makes sense though--that they would do it just for fun.

At this year's TAP NY festival, my local brewery, Keegan Ales, mixed all of their regular line-up beers with cereal flavors. I can't fully remember all of the combinations, but I think their milk stout was mixed with cocoa puffs, their IPA was mixed with cinnamon toast crunch and their blonde ale was mixed with fruity pebbles

Maple Island did a kolsch brewed with Crunchberries. It was not as bad as the rest of their beers.

Junkyard brewing in Moorhead, MN did a beer that had Cap'n Crunch in it that was actually freaking fantastic.
