    The time has come to let the funk rule. Funk Junction Sour Beer Fest will take place at The Starkeller May 19th. Featuring over 20 breweries who are embracing their funky sides from Minnesota and across the country, this barrel-aged sour festival is one you won't want to miss. With groovy beats provided by DJ Mat, funkadelic cheeses, and food that will satisfy your soul, a day to remember is in store.

    I figured there was some weird Minnesota law that prevented breweries from doing invitational beer fests. I really hope I’m available this day.

    It sucks this is the same weekend as Dark Lord. Would love to go to try Odd Breed for the first time.

    Can't breweries sign a 1 day deal to "distribute" their beer or something along those lines?

    Jester King comes to mind doing 2 beer shows here the last 2 years.

    Not sure exactly how the Cigar City thing was done for APN last year.....?

    Cigar City also had a one day distribution license.

    you need to delete this. last thing we want is

    I believe Cigar City was speaking or doing some instructional thing, which is what got them their license. Otherwise I think you need a distributor in MN

    Out-of-state breweries that are small enough can self distribute in Minnesota now thanks to Oliphant.
