Im looking to try Funk Metal because I want to try a sour stout and I recently enjoyed a Jester King brew (Wunderkind) very much. What do you experienced traders think is a good offer to get this done? I was thinking a BA rasputin + ?, or imperial biscotti + ? Thanks.
I think both of those are distributed to Texas. I'd suggest high quality locals, especially since there's more Funk Metal being made.
Right now FM is in short supply. They haven't made a batch in a while and it's pretty much sold out everywhere in TX. Imperial Biscott would be close and might get it done. BA Rasputin will be tough because we got it in TX and it's probably still lingering on shelves due to the price. It'll go $4$ with limited locals is pretty much the answer.
Personally, I prefer Tart of Darkness over Funk Metal. Not sure if Massachusetts carries The Bruery, but I've recently seen Tart of Darkness in multiple north eastern states. I will echo the above. Limited shelf beers should do the trick. I believe Funk Metal cost between $12 to $15.
