Funk

    Hormonal
    Composted soil
    Unripe citrus with mold on it
    Strong ripe cheese
    Dirty laundry
    Rotting straw
    Scents from flowers with offputting smells
    Over-ripe stone fruits

    These are all aromas I have noticed that are thrown from the various bretts and bugs brewers use to funkify beers.

    The beer I would describe as being the funkiest I have tasted recently would be this one. Disregard the first 3 "reviews" as I suspect they either mistook this beer for the one they were drinking, have no palate whatsoever, or flat out lied about trying it. Start at jlindros' review. It is a funk fest on steroids.
