"funkiest" saisons??

    It is a great beer but it isn't that funky. There is some funk but it isn't over powering. He cant get it in south carilina anyway.

    I'm open to suggestions of all funky styles.....had love child#5 a few weeks ago and it wasn't super funky to me still really good! Not worth the 20$ bottle tho imo I've heard love child #4 was better.

    Agreed, the price is quite steep for this one. I did think #4 was quite a bit funkier than #5

    Never thought of the one from Funkwerks being overly funky...at least other than the name. I do really like it, though.
    Casey's East Bank is more so IMO. Logsdon was the first thing that came to mind for me. In some ways their SB is actually too much for my tastes. I can only handle it in small amounts.

    +1 Saison Brett by Boulevard also Saison De Lente by the Bruery is pretty funked up. Fantastics beer but I'm more of a traditionalist so I'll stick to my Saison Dupont

    Not actually a saison but one of the best funky beers ever imo Sanctification bt Russian River. Technically a sour blonde but it's a 100% brett beer.

    The funkiest saison I've had so far is a recent Stillwater/Smuttynose collaboration, Smuttlabs: Smuttwater 1.0. It's got a really filthy brett character (like potted soil), and it's also fairly hoppy on top of that.
