I personally am really excited to see Funkwerks hit Chicago. Their saison is one of my favorite everyday saisons to drink and their other stuff is also quite good.

I can't wait. I heard they were coming over when chatting with one of Brooklyn brewery guys (partners in sale/distribution with 21st amendment and funkwerks) back in January. I'm super excited. I would visit my sis out in Denver and drive back with a haul of their stuff.
All the ones on the list are solid. Hoping they bring nelson sauvin, my favorite.

Me two. I’m curious if it’ll beat out the new 4 packs of Oxbow FPA which I’ve been enjoying the hell out of

Very excited with this one, every time I'm in FC I tend to gravitate towards Funkwerks and Odell, now just waiting for Equinox and Jessup Farm to follow

I'm so happy about this. Tropic King and Saison are awesome, and I recently had Raspberry Provincial and was blown away by it. It's so refreshing and balanced with loads of raspberry while avoiding being overly sour like so many American sours end up being. I think (hope) they are unique enough to stand out in this incredibly cutthroat market, and I'll do my part to buy (and sell) enough to keep them here.

In Chicago, the battle is going to be between Off Color, and breweries like Allagash, Oxbow, & Funkwerks. The irony is that they're are sold by the same distributor. Guess we will see what happens.

What is Oxbow FPA priced at? Funkwerks and Off Color are comparable, so they definitely actually compete (and both are great).

I haven't even seen Oxbow FPA ... so from my perspective they aren't really competing at that level.

It launched a few weeks ago. I’d imagine it’s at any store that knows good beer. I found it in west burbs

At that price they are well over Funkwerks and Off Color. Great product, and not a bad price outright, but priced over their direct competitors.
