Is Morning Wood still available in bombers at the Brewery or surrounding areas?

    @damasta414

It’s no longer available at the brewery, but is available in small numbers at random bottle shops

Can someone please let me know approximately what the recent BA releases (MW/LBITP) from FB retail for? Thanks.

27.99 seems like the most common price I see around town.

Was there today to pick up Love Below ($25) and they still had several of the Louisville and Overproof variants of Last Buffalo in the Park ($30 each). Lawrenceburg was sold out. Grabbed a Louisville.

Is there any place that still has Funky Buddha Morning Wood closer to the MIA airport?

Anyone seen I Want It Now! at Total Wine or other shops yet?

On FB's IG they posted No Crust 4 packs will be out next month. This beer has been great in the past when I tried it at the brewery so I hope it holds up in bottles.

Fairly excited to try No Crust out of bottle. Also haven’t been able to find the gose yet. Similar to last batch?

I tried the Huki Idol IPA did not enjoy. Got a lot of passionfruit and lime but not much hop presence. Someone on untappd said it's more like a Gose, and kind of agree from the few sips I had of it. I bought 2 bottles so may try it again with a more open mind.

I've had the Huki Idol twice and it tasted different to me both times. I attribute this to my palate's conditioning at the time. Either way I think it drinks very well.

Grabbed a bottle of I Want It Now and a 4 pack of No Crusts. Taste wise I think No Crusts comes close to when I have had it at the brewery but the mouth feel was off, drinks a lot thinner than I remember They have had that issue with a lot of their brown ales IMO.

Yeah for me it did not taste as good as when I had it at the brewery - agree it seemed a little thinner and also there was more of a jelly taste and less peanut. Maybe that’s a good thing to some ppl because the jelly flavor came out more pronounced but I love peanut butter so I didn’t like it as much. It’s still worth grabbing though. I drank 2 and sending the other 2 to a guy I trade with in Chicago.

I thought the I Want It Now gose was delicious and a decent value at $8 a bomber.

Apologies if this is a noob question, but how crazy do bottle releases get these days? I'll be in from out of town this weekend and saw they are doing the Mint Julep release and Derby Day Party, so I'm just trying to get a sense of what to expect. Is this a "stand in line early, shoulder to shoulder at the bar for pours" kind of deal, or more casual / relaxed atmosphere?

Been a long time since I went for a bottle release. Think the last one I went to was Last Buffalo release, before it started getting distro, or maybe it was the barrel aged French Toast. For the last two releases I went to I got there when they opened and waited maybe 15-20 minutes in line.

It shouldn't be crazy at all. Saturdays do get crowded (normal) plus add the special event but, if you show up early, like before or at noon it will be smooth sailing.
They seem to have extra cash to brew large amounts of their special beers.
Check out The Mexican Coffee. Excellent brew!

Anybody know when Wide Awake bottles start hitting down here? In town through Thursday and wondering if I have a snowball's chance in hell of finding some.. TIA!
