Are their beers brewery only? Or do they distribute around Florida? Gonna be in Ft. Myers, Naples, Marco Island in February and looking for some good brews to try and bring home.
To the best of my knowledge it's pretty much brewery only. Fermentation lounge in Tally had Maple Bacon Coffee Porter last Friday but it was because a group of the Funky Buddha guys personally drove up a keg as a nice gesture. With the exception of the extremely limited amount of bottles given to their reserve society, I do not believe that there are any bottles distributed or available (although I did hear that they just purchased a bottling line so maybe in the future something will be available). It seems that without going to the bar itself your out of luck for Funky buddha.
Went there earlier this month, and yes it is brewery only, except for when they take kegs to fests et cetera. Yes they are starting up a bottling line, but it will only start with three of their standard beers. Well worth the trip just for the brewery though!
No, No or No When I was there they said that they are adding the licenses to sell growlers and bottles, but my guess is that it will only be the stuff that they make in the new brewing facility at larger volumes (their standard beers)
You can get a growler of their flagship beers like Hop Gun or Red Dawn, only 32oz growlers...on occasion. Never of any of their limited items.
Do they announce when they will allow growlers? I've been there a few times and I never see anyone getting growlers.
As I understand it, these days, you can't even get a growler of the regular beers. Perhaps when their new facility is cranking out the Hop Gun. Oh well, just makes me more motivated to go up there.
Funky Buddha is the only good thing about living in So Fla. Can't wait for their new facility to open up.
