Funky Buddha French Toast

I just checked the calendar. It says June, so expect an announcement sometime. I, personally, would not expect the release until after the big party, next weekend.

 

My guess would be towards the end of the month.

 

They put a picture on their Instagram a few days ago teasing French Toast.

 

I haven't had French toast but many of their other Browns. How does it compare? Similar? I think a lot of their similarly styled beers taste.... similar

 

French Toast is one of my favorite beers from them, I really hope the bottling goes well. If the release is later in the month I'll miss it, so fingers crossed for an earlier date.

 

Their monthly releases tend to be towards the end of the month, so I'd guess around then.

 

French Toast is one of my favorites from FB, definitely a well done brown. That Brown Ale base is so great anyways, so I guess that helps. I'm guessing last week and a half to 2 weeks of June, as well.

 

I hope they get it right... this is probably the most inconstant beer they make imo...

 

Muy Bonita was a little underwhelming, then again I have never had it on tap so I don't have anything to compare it to aside from Bonita Applebum. Interested in bottle limit for this one, may have to make the trip to the brewery.

 

All of these releases this year so far, including Wide Awake, have been extremely easy to come by, whether it be ABC, Crown, Fresh Market, TW. Trader Joes is my go to

 

I haven't had French Toast from the bottle yet but have had it on tap a handful of times at the brewery. I like it better than their other browns such as Doc Brown, Bonita/Muy Bonita and would rank it just a shade behind MBCP and Last Snow. Glad they are bottling it again...

 

The bottled version for imperial members last year was great when it was fresh. For me it's one of those beers that after a glass of it, I'm done for a bit with it. The Barrel aged version is pretty tasty too.

 

Release date is 6/14

 

Yeah, I originally was flying down from 6/10 to 6/15, but decided on 6/8 to 6/12 instead. Great decision....

 

they just posted on Facebook the release is Tuesday 6/21 from 7-1130 pm. No prices or bottle limit info yet

 

I guess they pushed it back a week, it said 6/14 at first, damn I'm leaving town 6/21.

 

I had this last night at the anniversary party and it was outstanding. I sure hope the bottles are as good as it was on draft.

 

Yeah, the batch of French Toast that was on at the fest, is fantastic. The bottles are going to be solid, for sure.
