I was in Miami for the weekend and I visited Funky Buddha in Oakland Park. I know they're bottling soon and I had heard through the grapevine that Funky Buddha is bottling a beer in commemoration of the 1972 Miami Dolphins. Has anyone else heard this?

Yeah they said they are releasing it in the tap room "soon" but no word on when yet.

    It's called 1972 Undefeated Saison.

Thanks a lot. Any idea on what something like this would trade for? I know Funky Buddha keeps their bottle counts pretty low.

I hear Aaron Rodgers stole the whole pallet of bottles in the final seconds of bottling.

It's a saison with grape must and champagne yeast...not really what gets people lined up around the block in South Florida...you should be fine @MrPeabodysBeard

I'd bet a ton of people want it just for the bottle, though

As a Jags fan, I'm waiting for a local brewery to do a Jags theme beer. It'll be purposely infected and a guaranteed drain pour.

It would be called "Another Unbearable Saison" (unless Tebow would brew it lol)

Yep mainly want it for the bottle, but want to drink one too... I do enjoy their goodies....but I'm a collector/hoarder so the bottle is what I am after. Same reason I have Spurrier's **** n' Fire Cabernet!!

Might as well call it "Living in the Past" or "We Miss Marino" or "Need Another Shula"

They all work. The worst part is we're never terrible anymore, always mediocre so our draft picks are constantly in the middle of the rounds.
