Funny beer comment story..

I watched the 2nd NY Giants / Patriots Superbowl at a BWW that had tapped a keg of Odell's IPA about 30 minutes before game time. My brother and I had a great time but my memory of the end of the game is a little fuzzy...

 

Not me. But my Dad was in the Air Force and liked planes so much our house was directly in the landing path for Lackland AFB. I grew up to a constant stream of B-52s, C-5As, T-38s, F-4s, etc. They had an extensive collection of historic planes on display which I used to always get him to take me to see (my favorite was the B-17, but the P-51 was cool, as was a B-36). I just grew up knowing most of the military planes from the 40's to the 80's as a matter of course.

 

I just was at the warbird museum at Titusville / Spacecoast FL it's amazing the things we designed and also the amount of money we wasted on things we never used

 

I live next to Tinker AFB. The plane scene here is spectacular. Bombers, fighter jets, AWACS, Air Force One, you name it. The sonic booms back in the 70s were a little unsettling, tho!
