This thread is 1000x more entertaining than those damn Biff tannen threads or whatever.

Ah man, actually I've got another pretty good one. Not so much what was said, but what was done.
Years ago I'm at a party & the host's kid just HAD to try some beer. Kid must be 10-11 or so, we're all feeling pretty good, so the kid's mom gives him one. Kid takes one sip & makes that kid-drinking-beer face & runs away with the bottle. He comes back with maybe 3-4 packets of sugar (I guess from the kitchen) & proceeds to pour all of them into 'his' beer. It was like one of those baking soda volcanoes... :-)

Needless to say we all had a good laugh.

My four year old daughter was browsing a grocery ad at Sunday lunch with her great-aunt. She was pointing to things she liked but when they got to the beer ad she says "my daddy REALLY likes those!"

No kids of my own, but one of my nephews loves to "cheers" with his sippy cup and my beer; of course I find it awesome

When my son was young and we would stay in instead of go out with other friends who also had children , I would buy the kids the kool aid kool bursts that came in a little plastic bottle with a turn off top. Those were kid beers . My son at a restaurant -loud. "I want MY BEEER!"

My kid is 24 years old. He says, "Send more Prairie Bomb."

    I'm not sure I think that's funny.

I work in a liquor store so I interact with kids all the time and they often make me laugh....
I said to a 3 year old "Are you going to help daddy drink some beer today?"
His reply of "not until mommy goes shopping" was priceless

Just this weekend my son said "when I'm old like you, I'm going to drink coffee and beer."
    Guess I'm old.

I have a 4-year-old son, and an almost-2-year-old. With the 4 y/o, anytime I'm drinking beer one of two things will happen. Either I'll give him a kiss and he'll get all grossed out and wipe it off, or he'll see my glass and will proclaim "Daddy, I think you're drinking BEER" almost like it's an accusation.

The 2-year-old on the other hand, and this has been since probably 16-months-old, will try to get a sip (he does this with ice tea, coffee, doesn't really matter)... but when it's beer, he'll try to get a second one. I once gave my wife gose to try and she made what can only be described as "gose face", a few minutes later the 2-year-old got a sip, and YANKED on my arm to get some more.

I love all three of my kids (3rd is 2mo) but the 2 y/o is the one that's gonna make me proud

Of course not, it's a Pabst product...

Seriously though, sometimes in a BIF thread it gets brought up that the kids need "root beer walez" (regional root beer)... I once sent a box with 200oz in it, of nothing but local root beers.

I don't have any kids, but my niece and nephew (4 and 6) say, "Uncle Gerald is going to his happy place again..."
