Just had their pilsener and was very impressed. Saw theres not many reviews for this beer... Is it at all popular in Germany? Anybody tried it and what are your thoughts? I have their hefe sitting in my fridge right now.
You didn't see many reviews on BA on Fürst Wallerstein's beers on BA? Funny, here's what a quick search of BA got me. Two posts by Jack Horzempa about the Pils: http://beeradvocate.com/community/t...ilable-imported-pilsners.110108/#post-1622316 http://beeradvocate.com/community/threads/bayernbiere-bought-and-drunk.55872/page-15#post-1591445 Jack's review of Fürst Wallerstein's Zwickel here: http://beeradvocate.com/community/threads/furst-wallerstein.52229/#post-932963 My reviews of Fürst Wallerstein's Landknecht Bier here: http://beeradvocate.com/community/threads/bayernbiere-bought-and-drunk.55872/page-3 My review of Fürst Wallerstein's Winter Böckle here: http://beeradvocate.com/community/threads/bayernbiere-bought-and-drunk.55872/ Hope it helps.
That is helpful I didn't search forums I meant there were few of these reviews http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/4553/87660 Thanks for the response
IMO, when thinking about what a German beer tastes like, I trust the folks that post on this forum a helluva lot more than the reviews posted in the beer review section. I'm sure many are well meaning or know their beer, but unless you've traveled around Germany, drunk the beer here, then I don't really trust their opinion, just I like I wouldn't trust someone's opinion of Thai food unless they'd traveled and tasted the food there. Well, Jack Horzempa maybe is the only exception to this rule, for me. Which is why you asked here on this forum. Thanks and give us your review, please, in the German forum. Cheers.
