Still waiting for this in the OC/LA area. But at around 15-17 a bottle this better be good.

It's very good, as are most (all?) barrel-aged offerings from Firestone Walker. It's definitely worth it at the price point. Some are suggesting it's a bit hot and they think it will improve in 6 months to a year. Buy two; drink one now, and another in a year?

Anytime I buy 2 I drink 2. No self control. Thanks, I'll get some =)

I didn't think it was that great, I'm not gonna buy any.
The barrel aging tasted nice as usual, but the base beer didn't really support the barrel flavors IMO.

I'll save my money for the next beer of the month.

Heh. Not much of one, apparently. He'd already been through 2 cases by early afternoon yesterday.

I wasn't that thrilled with the Double DBA, either. It was OK, just not worth the trouble. Maybe my palate is weird, but I swear I was picking up a tequila essence in it.

had it last night, its real tasty, first glass was great. got a bit hot as it warmed, hopeully a few months will do it good. not as good as abacus, but its defferent enough to set it apart, which is what i was hoping for. base beer comes out real nice.

sf got it yesterday, whole foods. if your on the peninsula looks like only one place has it. 60 bottles (well 56 after i left)

I'm almost shocked how fast San Diego got this beer. Typically we are the last in the country to get a new FW release.

Healthy Spirits has it for $15, one-bottle limit. Seemed they had about three cases total, maybe only two. I passed, mainly because I had it at Firestone Fest and it wasn't my thing.

If they bottle Sticky Monkey on the other hand...
