For the chance to essentially be guaranteed tasters of beers like BA DL, BA Huna, etc., without standing in a ridiculous line? I think people will pay it. An extra $125 is too much of a premium for me to think it's worthwhile, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the early admission tickets sell out.

True. Some would pay even more. I'll stand in the line, (which goes pretty quickly), and invest the other $125 in a great steak dinner later that night.

I don't need to spend an extra $125 to try some samples of a rare beer.
I can use that money for a hotel.

    Looking forward to the event.

I for one will be buying the early tickets if I get the chance. That hour will be perfect to hit all the beers that will be crowded, then when the crowds come in I can just hit the spots with no lines. Works out perfect for me. No hotel needed, and what is $125 bucks between friends, and it goes to a good cause so I don't mind.

Pretty pricey for the extra hour of drinking. I was able to try everything this year during the normal hours.

The only line I avoided/beer I missed out on last year was BADL and to me $125 isn't worth the chance to try it.

im upset they rose the price again! their early bird prices is regular admission price for last year and they plan to increase it again. early bird last year was $50 a ticket.

2 years from now it will probably be $200 presale for reg admission

I think I'll pass this year. Was really hopeful they would be moving it indoors somewhere. The heat last year made the event much less enjoyable than I had hoped for.

At $125 for an hour on the early bird there better be a ZJ included in that swag bag. I think the majority of people will be deterred but without a doubt there will people with more $ than they know what to do with and buy them out.

Going to be a great time for sure. Better even if we can get some cloud cover

The only beer I missed out on last year due to lines was BADL and for me a 4oz taster of it isn't worth $125.

Also, $75 (same as last year) is well worth it for this festival. Let's just hope it's a little cooler in 2014.

I've really wanted to go for awhile but I wish it wasn't during the summer. Heat, alcohol and I don't mix well :slight_frown:

I'm still going to buy tickets

Booked at the Adelaide. This Midwestern boy is used to summer heat, but I could deal with it being a touch cooler than last year, though they dealt with it beautifully with the water stations, the misters and plenty of shady spots to chill. FW puts on a great show no matter the weather.

I'm not going to go for the early admittance ticket, but one thing to remember is that apparently a big chunk of that extra cash is going to charity, so it's not outright gouging or anything.

I'll be F5'ing with the rest of you come Thanksgiving night :sunglasses:

I hope the $200 ticket comes with ball antiperspirant. I was dripping hardcore this year.

In past years how difficult has it been to get the early sale tickets? Do I need to be sitting at my computer pounding F5 at 12 to have a chance?
