It worked out well for me. In typical Black Friday fashion, I sat in my tent set up in the den for days next to my computer. Got in first.

Firestone Walker said via Twitter that the allocated tickets sold out in "seconds". AKA there were very few tickets "allotted" to this pre-sale. Lame. At this point I'm not even sure it is worth fighting and staying up until midnight for the February release. I'll likely just wait until the week of the event to buy a couple tickets off of someone who didn't realize how far Paso is from LA/SF and bails at the last minute. There were ample tickets the week of the event for this years.

I must've been really lucky because I got my tickets with no problem at all. It sucks that it didn't work out for a lot of people. I wonder how many tickets were made available and how bad it's going to be come February.

Got my tickets, no problems here. The website remained fast and the checkout was smooth.

Did anyone get "stuck" buying the $200 tickets because they were the only ones that popped up?

I wish they had broken up the sale so that the website wasn't inundated by buyers looking for the $75 tickets.

According to FW twitter, they sold 1/4 of the tickets at the pre-sale. Wow those went quick!

1/4th of the tickets being sold in 60 seconds sounds kinda scary

Yes 100 early entry and 400 regular admissions is what i was told for black Friday release, last year they didn't offer early bird and sold 500 black friday, 1500 in February. Great event and worth all the time and effort for those who have never been. Paso!

I set my alarm for 11:55, woke up, logged in, bought my 2 tickets and went back to sleep. My only issue was that I needed 4.

Was really surprised to hear they sold out in 60 seconds. Makes me wonder how fast the balance of the tickets will go in February.

this event hypes itself. not many beer fests u can "tick" beers in the top 10 of 250, try some other new to you stuff and even try a few that have never been brewed before all from argueably the best breweries in the nation.

Same experience. I don't post this to brag, just shocked considering the experience of others and my general luck with these things.

Am I correct that all tickets are non-transferable? I got shut out during the pre-sale, so just trying to make sure I cover all my bases. This was to be a special weekend for some reasons other than the festival, but this would be icing on the cake for us. Thanks in advance.

You can sell or give your ticket to someone else, I couldn't go last minute last year and sold the ticket to someone else.

Does anybody know when the brewery list comes out? I see some articles, related to last year's list, dated right around this time last year.

In case anyone else was impatiently waiting for the brewery list announcement, I sent them a message and got this back:

"Very, very soon! We're hammering out some final details then will announce it to the world. But don't worry, you won't be disappointed "

Deal with the devil is a fantastic beer, but I think it would be dangerous mixing that with the paso heat.
