    Dammit. I hate when cool glasses come out. I literally was pissed at myself for a second before ordering. Absolutely no will power.

    Yep. Just order this and proprietors tulip. And then that led me to purchase two deschutes teku's. Damn I hate beer :slight_smile:

    This seems like as a good place as any...

    I am ALL ABOUT glassware enhancing the beer experience, but I haven't been able to figure out what the teku glass is really doing for my beer. I've tried several beers from this glass and it hasn't really made any positive impressions with me.

    Is there another thread that talks about what the teku glass does for the taste/aroma of beer? Or which beers are best from this glass and why?

    I want to like this glass but it just isn't doing it for me yet. Thoughts, anyone?

    IMHO... these glasses are great for saisons, sours, and stouts/porters.

    They're pretty horrible at nucleation, IMHO since, at least the ones I have, have no laser etching and a base with a curved surface... so I would never even think to put an IPA or lager in it.

    Cool looking glass that holds beer - had a major impact on my decision to purchase one, as well.

    Apparently the glass was inspired by the concept of the ISO wine tasting glass, the idea being to create a standard beer glass that could be used for all styles. But, I will take Lutter's advice and see how it performs with saisons, sours, and stouts/porters.

    I've been searching for an excuse to place an order for the brandy snifter and mini-nonic. 3 new pieces of FW glassware added to the collection...I'm going to have to move my fiancee's coffee cups haha

    You all are bad influences on me. I gave in to a Teku, 6oz brandy snifter, and the Proprietors snifter.

    I also find it to be great for hoppy beers. The head won't dissipate overly much, in my experience, and the snifter-like opening focuses the aroma. Just a great all-around performer.
