    Saturday, November 3rd from 12-3pm

Join us for the release of our XVI Anniversary Ale. Purchase 3 or more bottles and get access to our XVI Anniversary Party from 12-3pm. Access includes beer tasting, food samples, live music and more. Space is limited this year, so secure your spot by getting there early.
Access to the XVI Anniversary Release Party is based on purchase of 3 or more bottles/person of our Anniversary Ale. No other tickets will be sold as this party is a "thank you" to those who have committed their time to coming to see us and are passionate about craft beer.

And how exactly are you supposed to purchase 3 or more bottles?

EVeryone gets in line and waits for the brewery to open. When they open the doors to the brewery they do sales there at the bar. THe last 2 years when you bought 3 bottles you got a wristband and were directed thru the brewery to the back where the party was at and where you can pickup your beers if you dont want to carry around . The layout may be slightly different with the restaurant there now but should be the same for the most part.

For the record, I have emailed Veronica Juarez, from Firestone Walker, as directed on their website, three times asking for more information, and I've yet to hear back.

They've had that post up for a few months now.

Conversely, when Double DBA was coming out a couple of months ago, I emailed about availability, and the local Firestone Rep called me within the hour to let me know which stores would be getting it when.

Vastly different customer service experiences, but I still love Firestone. If any of you are going to the XVI party, I'll be seeing you there!

No, I've not seen the blend yet.

Also, I'm REALLY looking forward to that X - XVI Vertical party I'll be having when I get back home from the release party! :grinning:

I may be moving to Portland Oregon and that's a long hop, a skip and a couple jumps from Nor Cal so hopefully I'll get to experience stuff like this and some cool RR beers.

I will pay anybody one bottle of BCS to walk around this party wearing a mask of my face the entire time.

I will provide the appropriate PDF image in proper format.

    photo confirmation required.

For anyone in or near Tucson, AZ:

On December 12, 2012, 1702 Pizza and Craft Beer Bar (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/17783/?view=beerfly) will be having a Firestone beer night featuring XVI, Parabola, DDBA and some kind of firkin. They are in the process of trying to procure some more awesomeness as well. Last time they had one of these events (I think back in February) they had XV, XIV, 2011 Abacus, Parabola, Black Xantus and more, so it should be good.

FWIW - Veronica Juarez from Firestone did email me back, apologized for missing my previous mails, and provided all of the details about the party/release, which as pointed out above, are now on their website.

Also, Little Lady and I are planning a "XVI Nights of Firestone Walker" tasting to go with the release. Here's our plan, and what we'll be cracking each night:

    Fri 10/26 - Night1 - Double DDBA
    Sat 10/27 - Night 2 - Wookey Jack
    Sun 10/28 - Night 3 - Porter's Reserve
    Mon 10/29 - Night 4 - Double Jack
    Tues 10/30 - Night 5 - Parabola 2012
    Weds 10/31 - Night 6 - Sucaba 2012
    Thurs 11/1 - Night 7 - Parabola 2011
    Fri 11/2 - Night 8 - Abacus 2011
    Sat 11/3 - Night 9 - XVI Release Party (Parabola 2010)
    Sun 11/4 - Night 10 - 16 Anniversary
    Mon 11/5 - Night 11 - 15 Anniversary
    Tues 11/6 - Night 12 - 14 Anniversary
